Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident signing up with us. This policy explains how our 15-day money-back guarantee works, what is covered, and how to request a refund.

Overview

Startscode provides digital services — specifically monthly website care subscriptions that include website maintenance, basic automation setup, and reporting. As these are digital, ongoing services and not physical products, our refund terms are designed to be clear, fair, and proportionate.

This policy applies to the Website Care Packages (Starter Care, Growth Care, and Pro Care) offered at startscode.com/pricing.

Eligibility

A refund may be requested if all of the following conditions are met:

  • You are a first-time subscriber on your initial billing month
  • You submit the request within 15 days of your initial payment
  • No significant portion of the service has already been delivered (see Exclusions)

Returning subscribers, plan renewals, plan upgrades, and plan downgrades are not eligible for a refund.

Refund Request Period

You may submit a refund request within 15 days from the date of your first payment. Requests made after this period will not be considered.

15-Day Guarantee: We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied within your first 15 days, we will make it right — no complicated process required.

What Is Covered

  • First-month subscription payment for Starter Care, Growth Care, or Pro Care
  • Situations where service setup has not yet begun or is still in the initial stage

What Is Not Covered

  • Add-on services such as extra content updates, new page creation, landing pages, or automation setups purchased separately
  • Any work that has already been completed, including automation setups, reporting templates, or integrations
  • Monthly plan renewals (second billing cycle onwards)
  • Plan upgrades or downgrades mid-cycle
  • Copywriting, content writing, or other one-off creative work

Exclusions

A refund may be reduced or declined if:

  • A substantial portion of the service has already been delivered within the 15-day window
  • The refund request is made after the 15-day period
  • The request is found to be in violation of our service terms
  • There is evidence of repeated subscribe-and-cancel behaviour intended to abuse the guarantee

In cases where partial work has been delivered, we reserve the right to issue a partial refund proportionate to the work not yet completed.

How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request, contact us through either channel below:

Please include your full name, email address, subscription plan, and a brief reason for the request. We will review and respond within 2 working days.

Processing Timeline

Once a refund request is approved, the refund will be processed within 5–10 working days, depending on your payment method and bank processing time. We will notify you by email once the refund has been issued.

Service Cancellation After Refund

Upon approval of a refund, your subscription will be cancelled and all plan services will cease immediately. Any work completed prior to cancellation remains delivered and is not reversible. If you decide to re-subscribe in the future, the 15-day guarantee will not apply to subsequent sign-ups.
